It’s Lent in a few days and although I am giving certain things up as I usually do, I think this time I need to realize that it isn’t all about sacrificing things— it’s also about taking up better habits that will help me grow closer to God and to the people I surround myself with every day.
Cleansing one’s self is not all about giving up the bad habits, but allowing those sacrifices to be filled up with better ones.
