A simple thank you is sufficient when someone tries to show they care. You don’t have to do anything excessive to show your appreciation. Just know that the more you forget your manners towards people who care, the more lonely you’ll end up being when you realize you pushed away everyone who gave a shit because you were too busy feeling bad for yourself.

There’s probably going to be a million other posts like this talking about their year of 2011. I enjoy going back into my old posts, especially the ones where a lot of change took place, so I’ll probably look back at this post and recall all the things that happened to me this year and how I felt about it.

pet peeve
When someone tells me the time they’re going to arrive and they don’t make it and don’t even bother telling me that they’re going to be late. I’m tellin you, do not make me impatient.
We teach everyone manners and we tell ourselves to apologize when we owe it… but honestly I rarely ever hear a person say, “I forgive you”, when another says, “I’m sorry”. I just thought that was…slightly disappointing and disturbing. We never really teach ourselves and others to forgive.
